Sights from the Cappadocia region in central Turkey and from the capital, Istanbul. In 2009 we crossed the country by bus, from Damascus in Syria to Istanbul in Turkey, essentially going almost both the length and height of the country. Our main stop was the Kelebek Pension in Cappadocia and the region's famous Fairy Chimneys which give the landscape its unique, moon-like appearance.
